The rain has made grass grow at at rapid clip.  Don’t forget to check your electric fence!

Any grass, leaves or branches that touch your fence will weaken the zap and make it less effective. Very dry weather can also lead to earthing challenges and also weaken your fence.

If you are at all unsure, consider investing in an inexpensive Electric Fence Tester. Simply pop the tester on the fence, put the earth stake into the ground and get a reading that will tell you how well your fence is performing.
