Delivery InformationHow much will it cost?
Can I collect my package? We welcome collection. We are based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN20 9AN. Please email us at sales@farmcareuk.com to arrange collection because we need to arrange for items to picked and packed from the warehouse.
Why do parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland cost more to ship to? Which Postcodes are effected? There is also a surcharge on all of the following postcodes KW1-14, IM1-9, TR21-25 and all of BT postcodes. For certain packages and areas, there may be additional charges. We will contact you should extra shipping be required. How do you ship? Where items are sent direct from manufacturers other carriers can be used. Fencing items come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and some items require specialist couriers. Your order may, therefore, arrive in multiple packages, sometimes with different courier services. How quickly do you dispatch? What happens if you are out of stock? What does 24hr carrier mean? Is next working day guaranteed? What happens if it does not arrive? If you have not received your items you must let us know within 7 days from the estimated delivery date. Once we know you have not received your item we will investigate the matter fully both internally and with our carriers. Unfortunately we cannot investigate non receipt deliveries after this time has elapsed. Investigations into lost parcels can take up to 14 days. Refunds or replacements will not be issued until the investigation is complete. Orders sent by Royal Mail: We do advise that the majority of orders are received within 1-3 working days of dispatch. However, for Royal Mail to class the order as lost in the post we have to allow them 15 working days to deliver before we can arrange a replacement or a refund [this is a Royal Mail rule]. Unfortunately, once the order has been dispatched it is then the responsibility of Royal Mail to deliver your item, and as much as we would like to resolve this for you today we do have to allow them this timescale to deliver. What happens if I am out? We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. Please be precise about where you would like the goods left if you are out when we deliver. We cannot accept any liability for any damaged to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions. We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed and therefore time is not of the essence. In any event, we will aim to deliver your goods within 30 days from the day after we received your order. If delivery is delayed beyond this time, we will contact you and either agree a mutually acceptable alternative date, or offer you a full refund.
Risk and Ownership You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you. If you choose to use your own courier then the risk passes to you as soon as the goods are handed to your courier. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered. What happens if the parcel is damaged or items are missing? International Deliveries: We regularly ship all over the world. International deliveries can vary dramatically depending on the country, size of package and certain rules and regulations. While we do our best to indicate the usual costs when you place your order, we may need to contact you with revised shipping costs. Delivery times also vary depending upon the item and country we are shipping to. If your order is urgent, please contact us and we will do our best to indicate the estimated delivery time, although we are, of course, at the mercy of couriers and customs. |
