This kit comes with a Hotline Gemini 40 high power energiser, made in the UK, that can run from a 12 Volt Battery or from the Mains.
There is an option to use 3ft plastic fence posts or upgrade to metal pig tail fence posts.
We have included with the upgrade 100 pig tail insulators for the posts to hold the wire. These are not required with plastic posts.
The kit uses galvanised stranded steel wire, this is easy to use very strong and because it is pure steel it is exceptionally conductive and gives a good shock.

Please do not take these heights as cast in stone - you will need to adjust the heights depending on breed, size, age and the mix of age range of your pigs.
Adult full size pigs only
Two lines at 25 cm and 45 cm
Piglets and adults
Three lines at 15 cm, 25 cm, 40 cm
This Electric Fence Kit is very easy to install. Simply push the post spikes into the ground. The plastic posts have hooks for you to attach your wire, and the metal posts have insulators that go onto the posts to hold your wire. Makes sure all strands of your fence are live - do this by connecting each strand with either a piece of wire, of a Hart-to-Hart connector. Follow the instructions on the energiser to attach the energiser to your earth stake and to your fence.
If you are running this from the Mains, you will need to add some High Voltage Lead Out Wire, to get from your energiser to the start of your fence. This comes in rolls of 10m, 25m, 50m and 100m.
If you are running this from a 12 Volt battery, you will need to get a 12 Volt Leisure Battery and may also wish to add a Solar Panel to charge your battery.
It's also a good idea to add a fence tester, if you don't already have one.

More details about the Hotline Gemini 40 Energiser:
This energiser is a real gem. Made here in the UK, it can work from either a 12 volt leisure battery OR from the mains. This gives you flexibility to move your fence around, should you need to. It can power up to 8km under perfect conditions, and up to 4km with medium vegetation. It has an 0.45 output Joule rating. It is ideal for paddocks, strip grazing and poultry nets.
It comes with a 5 year warranty.
The energiser will run off a 12 volt battery for approximately 5 weeks, and it has a low battery and electric fence pulse indicator. It is good for all electric fence rope, tape, wire and twine.
The Gemini 40 comes with earth, fence and battery leads and 12v mains adaptor; it can be mounted on either a wall or wooden post, or the stand included with the energiser. The stand will work as an earth stake for most small to medium fences. For larger fences, you may need to add a 50cm earth stake.
