These Premium Solar Sportz Lights are an ideal way to safely extend the time you spend outside. They are popular for sports fields (tennis, 5-a-side football, hockey, cricket, volleyball), arenas, yards, car parks, construction zones and as security lights. They can be set to come on when it is dark, or they can be motion activated, or you can use the remote control to turn them on whenever you want to use them, just like a light switch.
6 lights will easily light an area that is 40m x 30m, with each light covering 300 square meters.
These lights are very easy to use - no need for electricians. They can be mounted to a wall or post, or they come with a U-Bolt for easy mounting onto a scaffolding pole (these can be purchased from builders merchants). Plus, you do not usually need any type of planning because these lights are considered portable. And if this isn't enough, there are no running costs and they are environmentally friendly!
The lights give you a lot of control over your usage. You can select the level of brightness, from 50 lumens up to 3000 lumens. For those playing sport (riding arenas, cricket, hockey, netball, 5-a-side football etc), the brightest setting is usually selected. For those using them for gentle security throughout the night (car parks, school entrances, dog walking etc), the lower setting is better suited.
Light Spread: If placed at the optimum 4m height, these lights have a light spread of up to 30m in diameter and can illuminate an area of 300sqm.
Charging: A full charge takes up to 10 hours of sunlight. The Super Booster Solar Panel lets you charge more quickly (very helpful during dark months or if the light has heavy usage). You can add up to 3 Super Booster Panels, which increases possible light usage by up to 6 times.
Set-up: The lights can be mounted on a wall, or on a standard scaffolding pole using the included U-bolts. They should be positioned approximately 4m high for optimum light. The lights should be in an area that gets some sun, to allow them to charge. No electrician is required and the lights can usually be installed in minutes.

This panel attaches to the side of your light. It doubles the amount of charging time for your battery and makes the most of whatever sunlight you have. This means you can use your lights for longer.
Motion Activated Mode: On this optional setting, lights will turn on when motion is detected within 8m of the light's sensor. Alternatively there is also the option to have passive illumination set at 50 lumen which will then increase to 500 lumen upon motion detection. This will last for 30 seconds or until movement is no longer detected, when the light will return back to 50 lumen. This setting is ideal for security lights, or walkways.
Timed Illumination Mode: The unit can operate on a timer for 1-2 hours with an extra 1-2 being available if activated, with just a click of the remote.
Remote Control: This gives you ultimate control and lets you turn your lights on and off and adjust the light level as required. This is the most popular option for sports settings.
Brightness: The level of brightness may be adjusted from 500 up to 3000 lumens to suit your needs (security light lumens is 50 lumens).

Setup: The Arena can be mounted to a standard scaffolding pole using the included U brackets or wall mounted using expansion bolts. For optimal area illumination mounted height should be 4m.

We are often asked about the difference between the Arena2 and the Premium Sportz Lights. They are made in the same factory, with the same functions, but Solar Sportz Lights goes up to 3000 lumens (rather than 2000 lumens). The lights all look the same, so it can be confusing.
