The Gallagher S100 is one of the most powerful solar energisers on the market, and for some farmers qualifies for government grants. With the Gallagher S100 solar powered electric fence energiser, it is easy to power fencing of up to 10 km of multi-wire fencing without any growth and up to 3km for a multi-wire fence with some vegetation. This powerful energiser works on solar power, which makes it quick and easy to install and transport. No more lugging heavy batteries to charge - with the S100 you still have power, even after 3 weeks without daylight.
The S100 also features two power options, running at full power during daylight hours and using slower pulses for night time when livestock is typically less active.
The all-in-one unit has a rechargeable 12 volt battery inside, which is charged by sunlight via the solar panel. The rechargeable battery will eventually need to be replaced (much like a mobile phone battery eventually needs to be replaced). It is an incredibly tough unit, designed to be outside.
