The planetary gear system is a new style of clipper gearing (usually reserved for industrial machinery) that gives impressive torque, allowing it to cope with tough shearing. This shear is a highly durable livestock clipper with an ergonomic design that reduces operator fatigue and discomfort.
The battery allows you to clip for 60 minutes (recharged in 90 minutes). It comes with two li-ion batteries, so that's 2 hours of clipping/shearing. We Say: So far the reviews and sales of this clipper are surpassing expectations - although it's not really a surprise as people have been waiting for technology to develop a cordless shear and are so pleased it is finally here. Obviously, it is much easier to use a cordless machine. It won't ever make it to the competitions, but for those dealing with dirty cattle or dagging, or shearing a small flock, this is amazing.
