NEW FarmPro Cattle Livestock Clipper - made by Agrihealth
This cordless clipper, made by Agrihealth, is a real game changer. It is a very powerful and reliable brushless motor clipper with 2400 rpm (which is great - but this type of motor has been around for a while now). What makes it new is the planetary gearing (usually used in industrial machinery) which gives it extra torque and superior performance.
It clips for 60 minutes and recharges in 90 minutes. It comes with 2 batteries (Li-on cartridge batteries that sit in the handle of the clipper), so you can clip for 2 hours without recharging.
The clipper comes with A7 blades, ideal for cattle. Of course, should you wish to clip a different animal, there are a wide range of blades you can use, that cut to different lengths.
The clipper is also light - weighing 1.05kg which is fantastic for such a heavy-duty machine.
It has a 12 month warranty.

Blade Options:
A7 Coarse blades - clips to 3mm - great for dirty cattle and coarse or dirty hair
Liveryman A2 Blades - clips to 2.3mm - ideal for a Medium cut on a horse
Liveryman A2 Fine Blades - clips to 1.5mm
Liveryman Covercoat Blades - clips to 4.8mm
Liveryman A22 Blades - clips to 1mm
It is always a good idea to have a spare blade (blades can go blunt quickly if they hit something like a bit of grit hidden in the hair).
Please also ensure you use oil on the blades during clipping, and clean the blades and oil them after clipping. This will keep the blades cool and will also make them last longer.
