The Horizont Trapper B12 (used to be called Equistop B1) Energiser is our most popular 9 volt energiser, and is especially popular with horse owners. It is light, easy to carry and uses 9 volt replaceable batteries that need to be replaced every 3 - 9 months (depending on the strength of battery you select and usage). In Europe, 9 volt battery energisers account for 90% of equine energisers. Here in the UK, both 9 volt and 12 volt energisers are popular.
The Trapper B12 will power between 1 km and 2 km depending on the condition of the fence.
Add a 55Ah battery to run the fence continuously for up to 3 months. This can be upgraded to a larger 150Ah battery that can power the energiser for up to 9 months (no more forgetting to recharge batteries). Please note, 9 Volt batteries are not rechargeable.
Because this unit is so light and compact even with the battery inside, it is ideal for taking to overnight shows where a quick temporary fence is required.
Comes complete with earth stake, lead out wires and instructions.

We Say:
The big advantage of this energiser is the battery is fairly light and lives inside the bottom of the energiser. There is no need to carry heavy 12V batteries across muddy fields for them to be recharged. This is a really (really) easy option!
