Foal Birth Alarms let you know when your mare goes into labour and help keep your horses safe. They are non invasive, and highly reliable. They work by detecting a movement that is unique to a mare in labour. The mare lies completely flat on her flanks when she starts having contractions. The alarm detects this position and sends an alarm after the mare has been in this position for 7.6 seconds, at which point she is almost certainly having her first contraction. Messages can be sent to your mobile phone, or to a Classic Receiver.
